ABOUT PEDCO

Pedco (Product Engineering and Development Company) was established in 1982 as a Partnership between Robert W. Clark (Then owner of Technical Molded Plastics Corporation) and Jon M. Congdon (Mechanical Engineer), for the purpose of Manufacturing and Selling the UltraPod, a unique 2oz. miniature camera support. Pedco designed, patented, and manufactured the UltraPod and originally sold it on an exclusive basis to an Outdoor Equipment company in the Seattle area.
Our product line has since been expanded to include the UltraPodII, UltraClamp, UltraMount, and Binoc-lr-mount, and is marketed World wide.
We pride ourselves with producing high quality, made in the USA products, at a reasonable price. These products are sold to the Outdoor, Photography, and Travel markets. Along with our consumer markets we also provide our products to the Military, Government Agencies, and numerous other large and small companies.
Our ability to be flexible, respond quickly, and provide Engineering and Design assistance to our customers has been key to the success of these products.
In April of 2008, Pedco merged with Industrial Revolution, who has been Pedco's distributor in the outdoor industry for many years. The official announcement is available here (pdf).
